Return & Exchange Policy

STUDIO1040’S RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY

 

ITEMS THAT ARE DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING ARE REPLACED AND REFUNDED AT NO CHARGE. 


Items that can be returned are eligible for a refund, minus a 5% restocking fee within 5 days after delivery. Items must be returned within 5 days after receiving the item. (please read “Ready to Ship/Stock Pieces”) 


REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED. * 


EXCHANGES/STORE CREDIT: After 5 days, * 

Studio1040 only accepts exchanges or store credit. No exceptions.

Store credit can be applied to any ready-made store item or custom order.

 

CUSTOM ORDERS:

Custom orders are non-refundable. Each piece is designed and made by hand, and countless hours are spent making each custom creation, so we respectfully decline to issue a refund on custom orders. We take the time to be very thorough in customizing order so that there's no room for mistakes or misunderstandings. 

 

READY TO SHIP/STOCK PIECES:

Selected items that are ready to ship and stock pieces are NOT refundable; please check the description before placing an order. 

 

We do not allow exchanges on stock pieces that have been modified by the buyer. Stock pieces with modifications are also non-refundable (i.e., change chain length/style, engraving, change stone, etc.).

 

FULL ETERNITY RINGS:

Please submit the correct ring size before placing your order. Once this band has been made, it cannot be re-sized. If it absolutely needs to be re-sized, it can be done. However, the finish will be different and we do not hold responsibility for the change. We do not accept returns, however, we do honor exchanges.

 

RETURN SHIPPING/RETURN SHIPPING FOR REPAIR:

It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for the return shipping (look under “Warranty”). Repairs that fall under our 2-Year Warranty clause are covered by Studio1040, buyer is only responsible for the return shipping label.

 

WARRANTY:

ALL items bought from our shop are covered with a 2-year warranty. This covers the diamonds/gemstones falling off, sizing, minor repairs, and defects that are brought to my attention once the item is received. Please note: center stones are not covered by the 2-year warranty. In case it gets damaged or lost, the center stone replacement is going to be paid for by the buyer. For this, we suggest getting the jewelry insured in case the center stone/s gets damaged or lost.

 

Sizing or any changes that are done by another jeweler to the jewelry bought from us within the 2-year warranty period voids the warranty.
